The log cottage “Kukkupuu” is located directly on the lake, only 1500 m from our farm, but is easily accessible by car. From the sauna with wood firing you can walk directly into the lake. The cottage is about 50 m2 in size and comfortably accommodates 1-6 persons (2 more persons can be accommodated in the neighboring guest house “Lassi’s blue room”). It has a living room with fireplace and simple kitchen with hot and cold water, two hotplates with electric stove and refrigerator. Drinking water can be fetched from a spring. For sleeping there is an alcove above and one below, covered with mattresses. A composting toilet is located in a separate wooden shed outside. The cottage is suitable for the summer months from May-October.
All in all a traditional Finnish summer cottage without special luxury. Luxurious, however, is the surrounding nature, swimming in the lake with sandy beach and extensive rowing trips on the lake Lammunjärvi.
“Lassi’s blue room” is a log cabin (15 m2) by the lake for 1-2 persons. Kitchen facilities: refrigerator, hotplates, hot water boiler; sauna use in the cottage by the lake “Kukkupuu”, with outdoor toilet, electric heating for winter, drinking water from spring. Can be combined with the cottage by the lake.
